Awesome Homecoming

I had an incredible experience yesterday afternoon. The view from behind the keyboard was amazing. I went back to a facility yesterday that I hadn't played in for over 2 years. It had changed ownership and staff and I hadn't been able to connect with them. Well that's all over now and they have their good activities director back and yesterday was my first time back. There was an amazing turnout including 2 volunteers from the past who no longer go there as they are well into their 80's but they came out for me. I was really moved. What made it so special is the fact that it was at this facility 10 or 11 years ago that I began putting this show together and the whole concept of doing these kind of shows. Now I'm doing close to 300 per year but this is where it all began. So this whole journey has come full circle. Needless to say, I'll be back there on a regular basis. This work that I'm doing is so rewarding in so many ways. I am indeed a very lucky person.
